**Activities Co-ordinator - £10.79 per hour - Full Time**

We have a wonderful opportunity for an Activities Co-ordinator** **to join our caring and supportive team at our Ivetsey Bank Hospital where we support young people who are experiencing significant mental health difficulties requiring inpatient admission. We have a total of 37 beds across three wards: one Psychiatric Intensive Care Ward, one General Adolescent Ward and one Specialist Eating Disorder Ward.

You will be joining a friendly and enthusiastic team who are committed to providing the best care possible for our young people. As part of our team you will be able to build amazing relationships with your patients and really be a part of their progress.

**As Activities Co-ordinator you will**:

- Work with patients across the hospital to enable them to develop their domestic, self-care, social work or leisure skills as appropriate for each individual under the guidance and supervision of a qualified occupational therapist
- Observe the general behaviour, mood, ability and response of patients during session and respond as appropriate
- Feedback patients’ engagement and progress to the appropriate occupational therapist or other multi-disciplinary team member as and when requested to do so
- Take responsibility for planning and facilitating specific therapeutic groups under the supervision of a qualified occupational therapist
- Contribute to patient reports and care plans under guidance from a qualified occupational therapist
- Perform general routine duties in activities areas to ensure efficient daily running of a healthy and safe environment
- Ensure that all information concerning patients is treated as strictly confidential at all times
