**Job Opportunity: Event Planner (FCM UK/IE)**

FCM is one of the largest global corporate travel management companies with presence in almost 100 countries worldwide, delivering personalised travel expertise, unique product and innovative technology to Multi-national and Large enterprise companies. As Event Planner for FCM M&E UK/IE, your role will be to inspire your clients and drive them to achieve their business goals. You will be supporting the Manager of M&E and collaborating with team members to meet or exceed business targets.

**Accountabilities**:

- Event Management - To assist the Event Manager in establishing correct systems and processes from the outset to ensure timely, error free event management.
- To support the Event Manager in maintaining accurate files, budgets & project plans in order to adhere to deadlines and budgets, especially attrition and cancellation deadlines as per signed contracts
- Negotiation with suppliers - Builds strong relationships with suppliers
- Communication - To maintain effective and customer focused communication throughout with all stakeholders
- Reporting - To ensure all delegate data is accurately processed including travel and accommodation

- Finance - Be aware of the financial position of the business ie company/team targets and contribution to margin. Reconciling of your own components of an event. Timesheets completed by the end of each month
- Customer Service - Provides outstanding professional service by exceeding all client/delegates expectations

**Experience/Qualifications**:

- Demonstrated effective customer service skills - Essential
- Events Experience
- A knowledge of all major suppliers and relevant MICE products/destinations - Desirable
- Degree qualified, preferred in Event Management - Essential
- Cvent Experience - Essential
