Spire Harpenden are recruiting for an Admissions Patient Administrator to join our friendly Administrative team. This position is a full-time, permanent position working Monday '“ Friday between This an excellent opportunity and a great role for someone that can thrive in a busy environment and enjoys speaking to people and delivering outstanding customer service each and every time.

You will work within the admissions department where you will be required to use our hospital systems such as SAP / HMS and Microsoft packages such as Excel, so experience within a similar setting or knowledge of these systems would be beneficial.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Ensuring a meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
- Arrange admissions as requested by Consultants or patients and notify all relevant departments.
- Receive and deal with all patient telephone queries.
- Complete all administrative functions as required.

**Who we're looking for**:

- Someone who is highly organised and accurate and works well to tight deadlines
- Must be a good communicator, excellent telephone manner, have good computer literacy with experience and knowledge of Excel, Word and customer data bases
- Someone who works well as part of a team but also able to work with little supervision in accordance with Spire policies.
