An Ofsted rated 'good' school near Carlisle are looking for an experienced Teaching assistant to work 1:1 with a child in Year 6. The child requires SEMH (social, emotion and mental health) support due to unforeseen circumstances. Therefore, the chosen individual must have previous experience working with challenging behaviour and be passionate enough about the role to build trust with the child.

**Requirements**:

- Relevant qualifications and experience in working within education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and connect with young learners
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of the children
