People Business Partner

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced People Business Partner to provide focused and strategic People advice based on a thorough understanding of the business, its challenges, people risks and appropriate People interventions.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Proactively participate in operational planning and review processes to identify human resource solutions required for the delivery of business KPIs.
- Support and coach line managers in all matters relating to the employee lifecycle, including resourcing, onboarding, retention, performance management, talent development, engagement, reward, and change management.
- Manage casework management, ensuring a balanced risk-assessed approach is taken to achieve appropriate outcomes for the business and colleagues.
- Drive and monitor the implementation of the new starter on-boarding framework at a local and operational level, coaching line managers as required to ensure new colleagues are successfully engaged and equipped to deliver.
- Manage the exit interview process, evaluating data and escalating identified risks/themes/trends to the wider People team so that appropriate responses/interventions can be identified and progressed.
- Identify and deliver projects to improve service delivery and the achievement of Airband’s People Plans.
- Take ownership of relevant people related KPI’s, recording, monitoring, benchmarking, and evaluating performance in order to identify required improvement activities.
- Develop, review, and communicate People policies, procedures, terms, and conditions in line with evolving employment legislation, business needs, and good practice.
- Proactively champion Airband’s Values across the organisation in order to ensure they are meaningfully reflected within functional ways of working.

We are an ambitious company with exciting growth plans backed by private equity investors. This role will be based out of our Tiverton office, with the flexibility to work 2-3 days in the office and the rest from home. There will also be an expectation to have a regular presence at our HQ in Droitwitch for team meetings, however, we do have a degree of flexibility in regard to working patterns and arrangements.

**Requirements**:

- Demonstrable experience of working in a generalist HR role as a HR Business Partner / Senior HR Advisor level.
- CIPD Level 5 or demonstrable experience at equivalent level.
- Up to date knowledge of current employment law and HR practice.
- Experience of planning, managing, and driving projects to successful conclusion.
- Strong analytical skills, able to observe, evaluate and make recommendations on situations quickly and comprehensively.
- Excellent written, verbal, and face-to-face communication skills, with ability to communicate and influence effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
- Exceptional IT literacy, fully conversant with Microsoft Office packages and HR information systems.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to successfully manage conflicting priorities.
- Experience of preparing reports and of monitoring KPIs
- Excellent attention to detail
