The post holder will be highly self-reliant and able to constructively challenge peoplethroughout our organisation in pursuit of excellent service for the vulnerable people we care for and educate. On top of this there will be project and change work to help build our vision for People Services.

We are a relatively new team of 9 professionals coveringAdministration, HR, Recruitment and Learning and Development. Having a true team player approach is key to us, we regularly support each other in our fluctuating workloads.

The job holder will work closely with the Head of People and Senior Education /Care Leaders to develop the leadership capability of our managers via coaching, workshops and other interventions. The post holder will possess broad HR experience in managingperformance, absence, disciplinary and grievance issues as well as OD and experience of HR systems and processes.

**What we are looking for**:

- CIPD qualified (or equivalent)
- Experience of Human Resources within a Care or Education setting (preferred)
- Proven experience in working with managers and stakeholders to come up with solutions to people related issues
- Excellent knowledge of employee relations and employment law including supporting with formal investigations and hearings
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong IT skills including excel and HRIS ADP / CIPHR
- Someone who enjoys working with people, is a team player and is willing to get involved in a broad spectrum of tasks.

**_This role requires travel to various locations across North Devon, South Wales and Bristol. You will be expected to be in the office in Tiverton one or two days per week with the rest of the time visiting our managers or working from home. _
