Business Development Manager

**Overall Purpose**
To generate new leads / opportunities for the Tracker system and increase the client base to grow its revenue stream. In addition, to help promote the wider Creditor Solutions products and services to clients and prospective businesses.
**Responsibilities**:
- Promotion of the Tracker system through product demonstrations and, where applicable involving other teams within BTCS to cross-sell services.
- Working with internal stakeholders in the RSM Group, acting as first point of contact to promote the system to our existing client base
- Prospect for potential new clients, load new client details to internal systems, preparing CEAP for Partner approval and all other associated compliance
- Achieve individual and departmental targets for Tracker appointments and sales by marketing the system to clients and external firms including Auditors and Accountants.
- Researching and identifying information and leads from various sources, including the Tracker system. Effectively managing and tracking progress of these leads whilst evaluating the quality of data as efficiently as possible.
- Acting as internal support for BTCS assisting with data queries and preparing Tracker reports when required
- Contributing to the identification and impact of company issues and risks
- Updating and maintaining records with accurate and appropriate information
- Actively participating in team meetings, suggesting recommendations to improve processes, procedures and working practices

- Has a strong understanding of both communications and business development, ideally within a professional services environment
- Able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and partners with a strong personality and willingness to succeed
- Ability to think strategically, strong analytical skills coupled with good commercial awareness
- Develops mutually supportive and effective working relationships with members of the team and provides cooperation and input whilst informing others of own activities and progress.
- Perceives the needs and concerns of internal clients and adapts approach to meet these needs, whilst maintaining effective and professional working relationships with key personnel.
- Listens / questions effectively to gain a thorough understanding of what is required, able to share knowledge effectively
- Manages own time effectively and adapts to conflicting demands on time to ensure that the task is completed
- Takes personal responsibility for decisions and actions within the scope of the role
