Business Development Manager

_A field based territory sales role, selling my client's range of flexible corrugated stainless steel gas pipes and fittings, into the construction / plumbing and heating sector._
**Package**: £34k-£40k basic + £10k OTE, car or car allowance, pension, laptop, mobile and 23 days holiday
**Territory**: London and the Home Counties (area to be split between two)
**Products**: Flexible corrugated stainless steel gas tube and piping
**Customers**: Contractors, consultants, gas installers, heating engineers and plumbers merchants
**THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT**:
- You will be a consultative and structured field sales professional, with a proactive go getting approach to business development
- Applicants from within the within the construction industry, or with experience of selling into contractors will be readily received
- Although this is not essential, and my client will happily recruit from other solution led B2B backgrounds
- Either way you will be ambitious and driven to succeed, with a desire to develop new business and carve out a career
**THE ROLE - Business Development Manager**:
- Promoting my clients range of flexible corrugated stainless steel gas tube and piping
- Tracking and securing projects with M&E Contractors and Consultants
- With the emphasis on winning high-rise developments, student accommodation and multi-dwelling projects
- All business will be back-sold via a network of merchants that you will also support and develop
- The product range has loads of features and benefits, and they are an expanding company that are able to offer career progression, and a step into sales management
**OUR CLIENT**:
- A leading European manufacturer of stainless steel piping system for gas installations in private, commercial and public buildings
- With over 40 years of market experience, and recognised as specialists in Europe for gas installations using flexible stainless steel corrugated pipes.
- Ambitious plans for growth in the UK, and opportunities for quick promotion into sales management
