**Account Director - Cloud**
My client is an award-winning technology company who is looking to add an experienced Account Manager to the most successful team in their industry.
An Account Director works in a senior consultative field sales capacity and is responsible for identifying and developing strategic engagements within a defined client account set. This person understands the importance of deep and lasting client relationshipsand knows just how to build them. Responsible for leading and driving sales engagements, our Account Director will be excited by the chance to solve critical business challenges, working right alongside our clients to make sure they're armed with the rightsolution and service for their organisation.
The role carries an annual sales target broken down quarterly and based on a growth plan. The role also requires high levels of opportunity and pipeline management skills.
**Account Director Responsibilities**
- You will strategically manage a volume of accounts to exceed sales and retention targets, across a group of large customers and self-identified high potential incubator accounts.
- You will ensure your understanding of customer needs and their plans for technology, along with the risks, threats and opportunities associated with these, whilst positioning the company as their provider of choice for all relevant buying decisions.
- You will follow internal processes for forecasting, orders, pre-sales, updates and developing account plans, whilst updating Salesforce and the organization on what will be required to grow and retain the customer.
- You will champion your customer's perspective and position internally, whilst establishing clear contact plans to ensure there are appropriate relationships with technical, business management, influencers, and decision-makers.
**Account Director Requirements**
- Proven in similar Account Director or Senior Account Manager role in telecoms and/or IT, with an emphasis on cloud solutions.
- Cloud and telecoms industry specialisms, with the ability to identify market trends, threats, and opportunities.
- Dedication to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- Delivering profitable, long term business opportunities through effective account planning.
- Exceptional ability to identify sale opportunities, qualify sales leads and exceed targets.
- Expert levels of researching, networking and relationship building.
- Accurate and effective pipeline management, with highly developed planning and prioritisation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
