Our client is an established and rapidly growing business offering a range of mechanical and technology-based facilities services and solutions. They offer installation, maintenance and repair services for many large blue-chip commercial and industrial customersthroughout the UK.
Due to expansion, new customer acquisition and high demand from existing customers, they are currently looking for a commercially focused Account Director with relevant knowledge and experience to lead the overall growth, development, innovation, and dayto day running of a select portfolio of key accounts.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced leader with an entrepreneurial character, enthusiasm and drive to take ownership for the direction and success of the portfolio. You will be joining a highly ambitious and motivated culture and will have thefull backing and support of an established business, management team and board willing to innovate and invest.
You will have scope to develop the full commercial aspect of the business including implementing new processes and procedures to accommodate an increasing customer base, developing new systems and ensuring high level of quality and professionalism withinassigned customer portfolio.
**Job Title: Account Director**
**Key responsibilities**:
- Overall day to day leadership and management of the Account Management team.
- Take the lead on new customer acquisition and industry networking.
- Develop, maintain and improve business relations with existing customers.
- Develop and maintain market intelligence and maintain awareness of competitor activity.
- Drive forward strategic initiatives, innovation and product development.
- Development of systems, processes, and procedures.
- Management of day-to-day reporting, budgeting and P&L.
**Package: Attractive six figure package including competitive base salary and excellent bonus & benefits. Location: Base location; North West UK (some remote working is available) Will require occasional national travel.**
Highly commercial, you will have a background in account management, business development and customer relationship management.
We are looking for an experienced Account Director with entrepreneurial spirit, drive, and enthusiasm to grow a business. You will flourish in an autonomous role that will allow for creativity, innovation and a high degree of influence.
High commercial acumen, problem solving, and P&L management experience along with strong, influencing, motivation and leadership skills are essential.
