Nigel Wright are delighted to be partnering with Envision AESC, the world’s leading battery technology company and lithium-ion battery manufacturer as they seek to appoint an Administration Assistant to support their Engineering Team. This is an excitingopportunity to be part of one of the North East’s highest profile manufacturing plants in a newly created role.
**Outline and Responsibilities**:
Reporting to Engineering Management and Providing general administrative support to Engineering and other department functions as required.
- General office duties and coordination of team events.
- Coordinate travel for the team and external suppliers.
- Maintain schedules for meetings.
- Interface with all levels of the organization and external parties in a professional and effective manner.
- Support raising of purchase orders including management of PO/GR forecast/actual schedule.
- Manage Engineering document management systems.
**Experience and Qualifications Required**:
- 4 or 5 GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A* to C), or equivalent, including English and Maths.
- Admin experience (1-2 years).
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Computer literate with experience of using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Good written, communication & interpersonal skills.
- Experience of working in a customer facing role.
- Capex and revenue budget knowledge is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn.
