**THE ROLE**

The Admissions Officer role would suit an organised, flexible, and hard-working individual looking to join a dynamic and fast-evolving industry. Trusted with responsibility from the outset, the successful applicant will work with autonomy, initiative, and a calm approach. With particular focus on student recruitment, Admissions Officers oversee every aspect of the student enrolment process, from initial enquiry until the end of the summer courses.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

Responsible to the Head of Admissions, Admissions Officers have the following responsibilities:

- Year round_
- Acting as the single point of contact with families/Agents for their respective School(s) and answering their questions, delivering exceptional customer care, and building trust/rapport
- Obtaining the necessary student information, including Medical/Consent, Transfer and Visa, in advance of the summer ensuring we are fully prepared for students’ arrival

Processing bookings and general data management with the Salesforce CRM system in an efficient and accurate manner
- Contributing to annual reviews within Admissions Department, including student recruitment/admin processes and CRM system improvements
- During Courses_
- The general point of contact between parents and School Teams, sharing any requests, issues, or updates
- Oversee and advise on any welfare and pastoral issues, liaising between parents and the School management team, particularly the Welfare Coordinator
- Provide feedback to the parents from School - including any positive comments on progress, as well as any concerns relating to academic/social integration
- Obtaining and verifying transfer info and ensuring Transfer Team are updated
- Prepare and review CRM reports to provide School teams with necessary student data

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**
**Essential Skills and Experience**:

- Demonstrable experience and interest in at least one of the following areas: Education | Tourism | Working with young people | Customer Care/Sales
- An effective and confident communicator, possessing excellent written and verbal skills
- Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining high attention to detail
- Ability to think analytically, with a logical approach to work
- Ability to work autonomously and to take ownership of tasks
- Strong administrative (i.e. MS Word, Excel, Outlook), time-management and organisational skills
- Patient and empathetic, with a good telephone manner
- Enthusiasm, ability to work well in a team, and a strong sense of fun

**Desirable Skills and Experience**:

- Previous experience of using Salesforce or other CRM system
- Experience in successfully managing customer relationships
- Experience of foreign languages or cultures through travel or work

**CONTRACT INFORMATION**

**Working Hours**: Due to the nature of the business, additional working hours will be necessitated. When courses are in operation, this includes weekend and some evening working, but will not be more than 6 days per week. Any additional days of work will be given as time in lieu.
