**Duties and responsibilities**:
We are currently recruiting three funded PhD positions as well as four Research Assistant/ Research Associate positions to conduct research within the newly established _Imperial-Meta Wearable Neural Interfaces Research Centre_. The roles of the persons appointed with these positions will include the establishment of activities within translational neuroscience and artificial intelligence in wearable neural interfacing, high performance wearable circuits and systems, magnetomyography, and design of experimental protocols.
This implies expertise (where relevant for each topic) in neuroscience, signal processing, artificial intelligence and machine learning, electrophysiology, magnetomyography, design of experimental protocols, integrated circuit design, and PCB Design.
**Essential requirements**:
You must have a good undergraduate degree/ MSc in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Neuroscience or Human Medical Sciences (or equivalent) for Research Assistant and PhD positions. For appointment at Research Associate Level, a PhD in Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or Human Medical Sciences (or equivalent) is required.
You will have (where relevant for each position) previous experience in computational models and measurements in how nervous system uses sensory information and controls movement, artificial intelligence and machine learning, myoelectric control systems and non-invasive neural interfacing, magnetomyography, translational medical research and experience with human behavioural experiments, biomedical circuit design & simulation, integrated circuit design, PCB prototyping & fabrication and testing.
