**Come and join our team**

We are seeking a committed and motivated individual to work in a busy, multidisciplinary Team within our Housing Property and Strategic Projects Division.

The Voids Management Team is responsible for ensuring that all empty properties within the Council’s Housing Stock are of a Lettable Standard, prior to letting.

The Team is also responsible for modernising and improving empty stock by dealing with structural and complex repair issues, plus compliance with the Welsh Housing Quality Standard.

The appointed individual will, therefore, need to be appropriately qualified or experienced within the construction field, as indicated within the job profile. The post demands the diagnosis, ordering and supervision of repair work. It also requires budget management skills, including the scrutiny and approval of contractors’ invoices.
