**Job Overview**

**Duties**:

- Coordinate all aspects of event planning, including logistics, catering, venue selection, and guest services.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences while providing expert advice on event options.
- Manage timelines and budgets to ensure events are executed smoothly and efficiently.
- Upsell additional services or products to enhance the overall guest experience.
- Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and hotel staff to ensure all elements of the event are in place.
- Oversee on-site event management, ensuring everything runs according to plan.
- Handle any issues or last-minute changes that may arise during events with professionalism and poise.
- Assist in fundraising events by coordinating activities that promote engagement and participation.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in event coordination or a related field within the hospitality industry.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
- Time management skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Experience in guest services or hotel management is highly desirable.
- A background in fundraising events is advantageous but not essential.
- A proactive attitude with a keen eye for detail to ensure high standards are maintained throughout all events.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £18.00-£20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 per week
