**Goods-In Team Leader**

**Location: Rugby, Warwickshire**

**Salary: £23,500 - £26,000 per annum**

**Shift: Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week**

**Core Hours: 08:30am to 4:30pm, including Saturdays on a rota (some overtime)**

We are seeking a Goods-In Team Leader to join our Carnivore team based in Rugby. Carnivore is a nationwide wholesale meat supplier based in the UK and strives to offer the best quality, the fastest and most flexible next-day delivery service.

Reporting to the Senior Line Leader - Goods-In, you will be responsible for loading and unloading of vehicles, booking in of deliveries, decanting of products from delivery whilst ensuring all company policies and procedures relating to health and safety,quality and food safety are maintained.

**Accountabilities**:

- Contribute to providing an efficient, friendly service to external drivers.
- Improve team performance and knowledge of all company procedures by utilising coaching, engagement, and training skills.
- Solve day to day issues through your knowledge to ensure your area runs efficiently & with effective traceability.
- Maintain the pace and standards of performance within the production facility.
- Assist in maximising service, productivity and always providing availability of products.
- Ensure all stock is used in accordance with the Company Stock rotation process.
- Coach and train core team members to become proficient and to support and become advocates of the necessary processes involved.
- Operating tray wash.
- To tip vehicle loads ensuring the load is safe and compliant to the pallet and quality standards.
- Conduct safe and efficient stowage of goods in the relevant chillers ensuring no H&S risks.
- To accurately count, breakdown and check goods to the Purchase Order requirements.
- To advise on incorrect deliveries and discrepancies (shorts / overs / date codes / packaging / non-compliant pallets / incorrect packaging / unsuitable packaging).
- To confirm goods received.
- Experienced in Leading a Team.
- Experience of working within a food production environment.
- Manual Handling experience.
- Handheld scanner experience (desirable)
- Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Forklift Truck licence.
- High levels of accuracy
- Have a ‘can do’ attitude
