Customer Development Specialist/account Manager

The Customer Development Specialist is responsible for interacting with existing and new small
- medium accounts on a daily basis, to sell them the benefits of the company’s products or services. To update them on new product launches and monthly promotionalprograms.
Duties to include:
- Manage an account base of existing customers over the phone in order to persuade them of the benefits of buying products, increasing the distribution of the product ranges, attending organized events and providing promotional information.
- Achieve a monthly/quarterly sales target
- Minimum of 85 outbound calls per week
- Explain and clarify company news, such as new product launches.
- Liaise with the field sales team and key in and process ordersCarry out other functions such as returns or payments to release orders
- Maintain digital CRM account records
Experience Required:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in telesales operations
- Efficient and effective verbal communication
- Good remote sales techniques
- Natural charisma - ability to come across to customers as genuinely likeable and trustworthyResilience - ability to move straight on with the next call and remain upbeat even after dealing with a difficult or abusive customer
- IT skills - quickly and efficiently accessing records, updating files and checking databases
- Strong organisation skills - planning monthly/daily call schedule, setting priorities etc
This role pays up to 10% commission
