**Main Purpose**

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join a premier team of Budget Analysts at the 100 Operations Support Squadron, Royal Air Force Mildenhall, United Kingdom.
- and long-term budgets and fiscal requirements, to be able to meet the program objectives and maintain internal control. You will also be responsible for planning, organizing and directing the activities, whilst ensuring the outdoor recreation program complies with legal and regulatory requirements. You will provide supervisory personnel management, advising and providing counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures and directives of management. This role will involve representing the outdoor recreation program with a variety of installation and functional area organizations, establishing and developing effective working relationships with installation/wing personnel, the local community and the Air Force Services Agency.

**Knowledge and Experience Required **_**:

- **_**Applicants must demonstrate the following**:

- Knowledge of the activities and services involved in a typical outdoor recreation program, and of the practices and procedures of sound natural resource management and utilization. This knowledge enables the employee to develop and conduct a recreation program that not only supports and meets the basic program requirements, but that provides a range of enhanced program activities which properly utilize and are in harmony with the environment.
- Knowledge of procedures for developing and executing but Non-Appropriated Funds (NAF) and Appropriated Funds (APF) budgets for an outdoor recreation program.
- Skills in effectively organizing and utilizing all available community resources within the program framework.

**Other Significant Facts Pertaining to this position**:

- A valid UK category D1 driving license is required for this role
- Bachelor’s degree in Outdoor Recreation, Therapeutic Recreation, Recreation Management or other related degree, or 2 years related work experience is desired.
- This position requires successful completion of a pre-employment physical

**Other Important Information**
- Hours of work: Mon-Fri 0800-1600 Start & end times may be modified due to mission needs and in accordance with organization’s flexible working policies.
- Will be required to handle and safeguard sensitive information in accordance with applicable US and UK laws, rules, and regulations.
- Must obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance.
- May be required to travel by military and/or civilian aircraft in the performance of official duties or attend necessary training.
- Position may be coded as mission essential.
- A 6-month probationary period will be required.
- Overtime may be required.
- May be required to travel overnight to US or other countries in the performance of official duties or attend necessary training.
- May be assigned other duties not included in this position description, but that are appropriate to the grade and skill set of the incumbent.
