The program serves an overseas community comprising of active duty, authorized civilian employees, dependents, family members and retirees assigned to RAF Mildenhall and other adjacent bases, as permitted. This position is responsible for assisting in planning, developing, managing and maintaining an enhanced Outdoor Adventure Program which is diversified, working with the Outdoor Recreation Manager to manage the Appropriated and Non-Appropriated Funds and assets of the Outdoor Recreation Program, whilst serving as an assistant custodian for the Outdoor Recreation facilities. You will solicit volunteers and part-time paid services and provide guidance and trip leadership for Outdoor Recreation activities and participants. To be successful for this position you much hold Undergraduate or Graduate education with the major field being general recreation, outdoor recreation, recreation and parks leadership, wild; and recreation management, natural resources recreation, youth recreation, public, urban or community recreation, special populations recreations (e.g., senior citizens, institutional, etc.) or physical education.
