Cheadle | Financial Controller | £65,000 - £75,000

I'm working exclusively with an ambitious, high growth business who are looking to appoint a group Financial Controller who will be responsible for all of the £300m TO of the Group. You will have an overview of the whole group function and influence businessstrategy through direct cooperation with the Group executives.

Key responsibilities;
- Overall responsibility for the provision of timely and robust management reporting of the Group's UK commercial operations to inform members of the Main Board on the financial and operational performance of the Division
- Presentation of commercial results, budgets and forecasts of performance, cash flow projections, key performance indicators etc. at Divisional Board meetings
- Monitoring of UK commercial banking covenants and debt service obligations; ensuring the timely payment of debt service costs, submission of financial covenants and supporting management information and continued covenant compliance
- Monitoring actual development costs incurred against original appraisal together with project returns over time
- Overseeing and managing a team of 6 direct reports
- Leading the migration of the commercial division from its current legacy accounting software to the Group's software to drive efficiency and improve financial and performance reporting
- Managing the year-end audit process and statutory accounts production to ensure a clean external audit sign-off for all Group reporting entities, ensuring adherence to Group statutory reporting timetables and prevailing accounting standards
- Preparation of the Group consolidation and Group statutory accounts for the Group
- Monitor, maintain and enforce strong financial controls across all UK commercial operations to safeguard the assets of the Group and ensure compliance with legal requirements
- Overseeing monthly reporting by the Group's overseas operations
- Collation and consolidation of all Group results and operational reports for inclusion in the Main Group Board pack
- Make positive contribution to the continual improvement of the Group Finance function through active participation in the regular Finance Review meetings
- ACA / ACCA qualified
- Ability to show confidence when interacting with management and directors
- Proactive in approach to work
- Strong analytical skills
- Someone looking to broaden their commercial experience
