**Who we are looking for**

SSTL acts as Trustee/Depositary to Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities (UCITS) funds and authorised and unauthorised Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) and is currently one of the largest Depositary/Trustee service providers in the UK. As part of the team, you will play a role in overseeing the activities of our Depositary Support CoE team and our client activities in reference to the regulatory requirements.

**What you will be responsible for**

As Depositary/Fiduciary Services, Officer you will
- Support the management of the internal SSTL Operations team and Client Due Diligence team responsible for Service Delivery.
- Play a supporting role in day to day client relationships, conducting regular service reviews and other meetings with Operational and Due Diligence staff and SSTL management as appropriate
- Ensure that the business complies with applicable regulations, including but not limited to COLL, FUND and CASS rulebooks and that systems and controls are sufficiently robust to mitigate any risks to the business whilst providing support to all levels as necessary.
- Support business processes and controls to ensure oversight of custodians who hold client assets on behalf of SSTL are carrying out their duties and controls to safe keep and administer client assets in a manner appropriate to the CASS source book.
- Effective delivery of change ensuring that the business remains as efficient as possible at all times
- Support the continued development a risk based approach operating to meet the fiduciary requirements of SSTL
- Undertake desk-based and on-site due diligence reviews of clients and delegated functions supporting the production of oversight reports in a timeous manner.
- Monitor and evaluate the continuing effectiveness of SSTL processes and procedures
