**JOB OVERVIEW**

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Data Insight Analystwith a proven track record and experience in a results-driven data marketing environment, data analysis briefing and interpretation and a qualification in statistics and/or project management.

As the Data Insight Analystyou will create and develop a contact strategy across all products and stakeholder types that delivers quality data to operational teams for their campaigns on time and within the contact hierarchy.

The Data Insight Analystwill manage and develop data tools such as FastStats, People Stage and Power BI. The role and the team it leads will provide short and long-term analysis and insights for managers and help interpret data to support organisationalstrategy realisation.

**DUTIES**

Your duties and responsibilities as the Data Insight Analystwill include:

- Manage contact strategy across all stakeholder groups (including fundraising, communications, volunteering and mobility teams)
- Commission and interpret regular back testing, as needed, to ensure database is being well utilised
- Work with fundraising managers to ensure campaign activity is planned to maximise return
- Interpret campaign response analysis and make recommendations to ensure maximisation of Returns on Investment
- Interpret Lifetime value (LTV) findings and make recommendations for future product investment levels
- Monitor quarterly KPIs to ensure health of the Individual Giving database
- Work with Fundraising management team to devise strategies for delivering short and long-term goals
- Ensure all data selections and insight for the organisation is delivered accurately and on time
- Plan, commission and interpret analysis on specific areas that are underperforming
- Manage a significant budget
- Manage and lead a team of specialist staff

**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**
- Educated to degree or diploma level in a relevant field, or equivalent
- Qualifications in statistics and project management
- A proven track record and experience in a results-driven data marketing environment
- Proven experience in data analysis briefing and interpretation
- Proven experience working at senior level and within multi-function, cross-directorate teams
- Charity sector experience, particularly in Individual Giving
- Proven experience of performance monitoring, including making recommendations on areas for investment
- Proven experience of direct marketing principles and techniques
- Exceptional at briefing and interpreting analysis
- Very competent in Excel
- Competent in Word and PowerPoint
- Demonstratable knowledge of the charity sector
- Up to date and demonstratable knowledge of Data Protection Act, and Charities Act
- Motivation, organisation and multi-tasking skills
- Good time management, prioritisation and negotiating skills
- Strong creative and analytical skills
- Demonstrable people management skills
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Persuasive approach
- Good at budget management
- Eligibility to work in the UK
