My client is actively seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team to cover the North of England up to Scotland.
**The Role.
**Role - Business Development Manager**
**Based - North East of UK & Scotland**
**Salary - Competitive and dependent on experience**
**Key Responsibilities.
- Management of north of England and Scotland sales of LED product to specifiers, electrical contractors, electrical wholesalers, public services, housing associations, retail, industrial and commercial businesses
- Development of customer base from initial prospecting through to conversion to proposals, sales and retained customer
- Successful use of a consultative selling approach to differentiate the offering away from the growing number of competitors
- lighting surveys on a variety of sites and completion of lighting schemes
- Regular use of Relux design package to ensure requirements of the client and lighting standards are met in proposal for full and emergency lighting
- Key focus: managing to success the development of a new focus for a broader range of customers - industrial, commercial, electrical contractors, electrical wholesalers
**Essential Skills.
- Lighting Design Experience - Relux Software
- Extensive Sales Experience through Specification
- Full UK driving licence
- Good technical knowledge of Lighting
