Reassured Ltd is the largest non-advised life insurance intermediary in the UK with established locations in Basingstoke, Portsmouth, Southampton, Manchester, Bristol, Bournemouth and Chester.
We launched our new Advised business offering in 2021 and continue to grow our sales and support teams across the entire business this year. We arrange over 15,000 new customer life insurance policies per month with leading sales conversions and customer satisfaction metrics. The business is outbound, B2C sales from internet generated customer enquiries.
**Job Description**:
The role of People Partner is to provide a comprehensive partnering service to leaders, managers and employees on all people matters in the Basingstoke Head Office. Working with the business to ensure delivery of business outcomes through innovative and customer focused people solutions and actions.
**_ Key Responsibilities:_**
- You will be responsible for providing professional, legally compliant, consistent, and up to date HR advice and support to key stakeholders across Head Office.
- Partnering with key stakeholders, meeting with them on a weekly basis to understand their people challenges and work together to develop effective people solutions that support the overall business and functions strategy.
- Support key stakeholders with effective solutions for absence management, performance management, ER issues, compliance issues, labour turnover and retention ensuring KPI’s are continually improved.
- Provide advice, guidance and coaching along with support to management teams to enable them to competently undertake meetings with employees for performance management, conduct, well-being, disciplinary hearings, grievances, appeals, mediations and general ER issues. Undertake & lead on meetings with employees as required and relevant to the situation.
- Support with the HR induction for new employees and conduct an onboarding review after 2 months acting on any issues to secure resolutions that support retention and engagement of new employees.
- Monitor adherence of the management teams for the timely completion of probation reviews and return to work interviews. Highlight any non-compliance, provide training and escalate to leadership team as appropriate. Provide statistics to key stakeholders of the compliance to these processes and support initiatives to increase compliance.
- Undertake exit interviews for all leavers and record results. Provide analysis to management teams as appropriate to improve employee experience and management practices.
- Analyse HR data, draw insights and provide relevant and pro-active information to the key stakeholders to enable effective decision making, innovation and improvement of key HR KPI’s.
- Support the Head of Engagement and Well-being with initiatives to increase levels of engagement and support the delivery of the well-being strategy.
- Support with key people related projects as requested including restructures, salary reviews, right sizing, ensuring accuracy of delivery and a commercial approach is maintained along with compliance to HR best practice.
- Collaborate with the wider Team People Partners and central HR teams to ensure smooth delivery of all people related processes, procedures and administration ensuring continuous improvement.
- Support with queries on employees pay, bonus, reward & benefits liaising with relevant teams to provide effective solutions.
- Collaborate with the Leadership Development Specialist and L&D team to support with the delivery of HR related training for managers and leaders.
- Maintain accurate records for all people related actions undertaken and ensure they are timely and up to date at all times.
- Support the sites and facilities with H&S requirements highlighting any concerns to key stakeholders.
- Be an ambassador for the values of the business and improving the standards and overall culture escalating any non-compliant issues.
- Invest in and drive own development ensuring you stay abreast of latest legislative developments and best practice within HR.

- Demonstrable experience of working in human resources, partnering with the business to identify and enact workforce solutions
- Confident in interpreting and using HR data to develop insight, present in a user friendly way, and use to inform action & innovative solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact across all levels of management and stakeholders
- Ability to effectively coach management and leadership teams to improve skills
