We’re looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join a team that makes a real difference to the lives of the children and young people.
It’s an exciting time to be joining the team us they continue to grow and you’ll be joining an established team of HR professionals that support the nationwide operations.
**Position**: Human Resources Advisor
**Salary**: £35,000, which includes a £5000 car allowance and £30,000 salary, per annum.
**Duration**: Full time 40hrs per week, permanent

**About the organisation**:
You will be working for an organisation that has a range of specialist residential children's services. In the North West they have services for children and young people with complex health needs. This region also offers a specialist Child and AdolescentMental Health (CAMHs) service, supporting young people experiencing difficulties with complex and often multiple needs.
In Northamptonshire they provide specialist placements for children and young people who have learning disabilities, autism, emotional and behavioural needs.
**About the role**:
As HR Advisor you will support all the children and young people services with all elements of the employee journey from recruitment to termination and embed the company’s values and ethos in all employment related issues.
**Your key responsibilities will include**:
- Manage a varied caseload including Employee Relations, Recruitment, Health, and Wellbeing
- Supporting and guiding operational managers through routine and complex ER cases
- Contribute to HR resources, initiatives, and solutions within the wider team of HR colleagues throughout the UK
- Manage the internal vacancy process within the region
- Ensure timely assessment and interview process in line with company procedure
- Ensure personnel files are managed confidentially, completed, and set up in accordance with company guidelines
- To support Services with temporary cover either with additional hours for existing staff
- Support Service Managers to complete timely probationary reviews and annual appraisals
- Report weekly and monthly information to Service Managers, Regional Directors, and HR Director
- Provide first line HR advice and guidance on HR related issues, policies, and procedures
- Support services with absence management procedures, by analysing absences within each service and reporting
- Support services with sickness reviews to continuously improve attendance within the designated area
- Support with employee relations issues, under the guidance of the HR Director and HR Manager
- Regular liaison with the Practice Development and Quality team to help ensure training compliance
**About you**:
To be successful in the role of HR Advisor you will have proven experience as a HR Advisor/Generalist within a busy, fast paced and regulated environment such as education or social care. You will also have a HR related qualification, ideally CIPD or equivalent.
There is a requirement to visit services in the region therefore a clean driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
Other roles you may have experience of could include: HR Generalist, HR Adviser, Human Resources Advisor, HR Business Partner, People Advisor, HR Officer, HR Specialist, HR Coordinator, HR Consultant, ER Assistant etc.
