**Business Development Manager - £35-40K per annum**

We are **_Mantra Learning_**. The UK’s leading Logistics learning and development organisation. Together with T**he National Logistics Academy** which is part of Mantra Learning Ltd, we provide support and development tohelp people and change lives and work with some of the biggest brands in the country, including Aldi, Travis Perkins, Dixons Carphone Warehouse, and Eddie Stobart.

Our organisation works with over 600 Apprentices, supports over 3500 people get back to work and improve their life chances and mental health, and trains over 1000 people to become HGV drivers each year.

We have an exciting opportunity for someone with Sales experience, who can work as part of a team and can use their initiative to join our team. Part of this role will require you to successfully secure new employer accounts, and promote our offer in directorlevel pitches to Blue chip national customers, have the ability to write successful tenders, build relationships with key stakeholders and networks, identifying opportunities for growth and further development.

This position is a full time role, based in Middleton, Greater Manchester. Offering an annual pay of £35-£40k, we are looking for someone who shares our vision when it comes to implementing long lasting change.

**Job Role Duties**:

- Leads The Learner Engagement Team - Motivates, inspires and leads the team
- Wins new business via customer engagement
- Provides leads, engages stakeholders and manages relationships.
- Analyses performance data to identify trends, manage underperformance and set stretching targets.
- Capitalises on lead generation provided digital marketing channels.

**Experience**:

- Strong digital, spoken and written communication skills, with an ability to communicate at all levels
- Demonstrates a strong and effective interaction with others as an effective team player and support to others.
- Experienced in leading a sales team
- Experience of board level pitches
- Excellent management, coaching and mentoring experience
- Experience of managing CRM systems

**Knowledge/Skills**
- Functional Skills English and Maths L2 minimum
- Degree advantageous
- Knowledge of the logistics sector advantageous
- Knowledge of funded learning advantageous
- Excellent relationship building skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic

**The package**
- £35,000 - £40,000K per annum
- 22 days per annum plus 8 bank holidays
