**Business Support Executive**
**Location**:Hybrid role, working from both home and our busy office in Liverpool Street, London, EC2A 2AP.
**Salary**: £30,000 - £34,000 per annum DOE.
**Contract**: Full time, permanent.
We are a long-established business training company based in London with a reputable and growing brand in both B2B and B2C markets.
Due to growing demand, we are seeking to strengthen our capacity to support our B2B clients, as well as providing ongoing customer service to our B2C customers.
We are looking for a well-rounded, professional, ambitious person who is seeking to develop their career in a business development and customer services direction.
Training and support will be provided to the right person, but the right attitude and the ability to fit into the current business are more important than specific experience.
**Business Support Executive - Main responsibilities**
- Answer incoming phone calls and handle customer service and sales enquiries.
- Manage training delivery from start to finish, using training management software.
- Attend client meetings (online or face-to-face) with business development manager when required.
- Assist the business development manager in managing existing accounts, including collating post-training feedback, and outreaching to keep up with their new requirements.
- Assist the business development manager to write proposals, contracts, tender documents, and brochure design.
- Ensure client satisfaction by providing prompt and high-quality service.
- Contribute to operational excellence and act as a champion of the Customer Experience performance area.
**What we need from you**
**Experience**
- 2 years minimum sales/customer service experience (preferably B2B) in a corporate or start up environment.
- Experience of working in a training company would be advantageous.
**Qualifications**
- Project management or business analysis qualification is a plus.
**Skills**
- Mandatory
- Very good business acumen mindset to capture business opportunities and realise revenue.
- Exceptional spoken and written English skills.
- Excellent telephone skills with polite manner.
- Competent numerical skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly using formulas in Excel, and formatting in Word and Powerpoint.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks.
- Advanced computer/internet skills, including research, use of Windows.
- Desirable
- Understanding of value proposition against cost+ margin approach.
- Ability to ask discovery questions in a B2B context.
- Ability to draft invoices and other sales related documentation.
