**JOB TITLE**:Front of House **-**Receptionist 9.00-16.00 over 3 days to be agreed

**JOB PURPOSE**:
Responsible to the Operations Manager in the provision of Reception and administrative tasks for the organisation including the I&A and Staying Active services within the established policies and procedures of Age UK Stafford & District.

- **Administration**

1.1 To provide an efficient **'**front desk' service for the organisation.

This will include answering and directing incoming telephone calls,

receiving and directing visitors, dealing with incoming and outgoing

post, including electronic mail, and maintaining a tidy and effective

reception area.

1.2 To assist in the provision of administrative support for the Senior

Management Team.

1.3 At the direction of the Operations Manager to provide administrative

tasks for other departments within the organisation, as required.

1.4 To set up and maintain organisational databases and other records

1.5 To assist in the maintenance of organisational filing systems.

1.6 To maintain company website under the direction of the Senior

Management Team

1.7 To assist the Information & Advice volunteers in the administration of

the service

2.1 Provision of information in response to telephone or visitor enquiries

and signposting to other agencies where appropriate
- **Development**

3.1 To assist in the development of ideas/proposals for

improvements/efficiencies in existing working practice.

3.2 To assist in the development and working to departmental

objectives.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.43-£12.75 per hour

Expected hours: 18 per week
