Kind Consultancy is working with a well-established Financial Services business which is currently seeking a Customer Service Admin Team Leader to join them in a permanent, full-time role based in their offices in the Birmingham area. The position has astarting salary circa £30,000 (dependent on experience) and a hybrid work model following a fully office-based training period.

The Customer Service Admin Team Leader will lead and manage a team responsible for agreement servicing administration within the Vehicle Finance division of the business, with key responsibilities including:

- Ensuring customer enquiries and daily asset-related and customer-related administrative activities are actioned correctly, supporting the delivery of good customer outcomes
- Establishing internal service level and standards
- Using lean methodology (for example, customer journey process mapping) to identify potential process improvements within the function
- Developing appropriate reporting, oversight and control frameworks for the team activity
- Ensuring an appropriate framework of oversight and control is in place over the activities performed within the team
- Ownership for individual efficiency, productivity and call and administration quality
- Ensuring daily asset-related tasks including HPI management covering Keeper Change enquiries, Dual Interest, Cherished Plate, Insurance write-off and other vehicle alerts are completed
- Ensuring payment processing activity (which includes transactions and adjustments, payment allocation and refunds) is executed correctly
- Actioning in-bound post and customer correspondence
- Processing of insolvency notifications and related enquiries
- Must have previous team leadership experience
- Has font line customer services experience within financial services
- Has a good understanding of vehicle finance, consumer lending, Financial Services regulations and process improvement techniques (ie. Lean Six Sigma)
- Has excellent communication and intpersonal skills, able to coach and motivate staff
- Is customer-focussed with a problem-solving mindset
