**Company**
Our client,a successful, growth orientated manufacturing business is looking to recruit an experienced internal sales executive to be based from their head office in Tyne & Wear.
**Role**
Reporting into the senior sales manager, the internal sales executive will play a key role in managing, supporting and growing sales with existing customers.Key areas of responsibility will include:

- Responding to quote requests and following up on these to convert into orders.
- Identifying opportunities to secure additional revenue from existing customers through aftermarket product sales.
- Working closely with the external sales team to help develop and implement a strategy for fast moving products.
- Identify aftermarket / upselling opportunities.
- Collect and analyse data to aid with forecasting and reporting.
- Build long term customer relationships.

**Experience**
- Experience in a sales & customer service environment with proven sales skills, ideally gained within a technical / engineering discipline.
- Experienced in analysing and interpreting sales data.
- Excellent communication skills with a track record in developing relationships with key accounts.
- Experience in a similar role where there is an emphasis on the coordination of sales enquiries and quotations.
