Opportunity
**Project Assistant (International)**
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Project Assistant to join our Research team. This is a key role in enhancing and supporting delivery of a portfolio of high-impact global health and international development projects through an exciting period of growth. The Project Assistant will work as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary and multinational team which includes partners in the UK, Uganda and Tanzania, to support the effective administration of several different projects, in partnership with the UK registered charity 'Knowledge for Change'.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Administration of a diverse portfolio of Global Health research and International Development projects.
- Engagement with external stakeholders including project partners, NHS health workers, undergraduate students and funding bodies.
- Collaboration with research, academic and professional services colleagues across the University and with Knowledge for Change.
- Arranging national and international travel plans for colleagues and stakeholders including for attending workshops, conferences and training programmes.
- Maintain and analyse feedback from our international student placement programme, report on outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support effective financial management of projects and accounts, including liaison with downstream partners.
- Contribute to the development of best practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
