An opportunity has arisen to join research activities in our expanding Smart Urban Futures (SURF) research group in the area of Nature Based Solution and Urban Green Infrastructure. As part of a UKRI funded project, we are looking to appoint a research assistancefull time for 6 months. The project is related to use of autonomous vehicle for monitoring and managing NBS green infrastructure. The appointments will be for a fixed term of 6 month with salary based on experience and qualifications.

You will be responsible for...

Conducting research in the field of use of Autonomous vehicle to monitor and maintain urban green infrastructure.

Supporting UKRI related funded research activities on the Policy Research Fund, including data collection and analysis

Investigating factors, which promote and inhibit positive dialogue in urban green infrastructure

Disseminating project findings in collaboration with the research team

You must hold a higher degree or about to obtain a Ph.D. in a relevant field such as Architecture, Built Environment, or autonomous urban ecology, experience in qualitative research or consultancy experience, good communication, interpersonal and IT skills.You should also have the ability to organise and manage your own time and work to tight deadlines.
