Are you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for organisation and a passion for supporting a dynamic team? As our **Business Support Officer** **, you'll be the backbone of our office, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Your day-to-day will include a variety of tasks, from minute-taking, creating agendas, and producing minutes, to maintaining accurate computer-based records. You'll be working with various office software systems, including Microsoft WORD and EXCEL, so your demonstrable keyboard and IT skills will be essential.

The Child and Educational Psychology Service offers a psychological service to schools and settings. We are a friendly and welcoming team made up of educational psychologists and assistant educational psychologists. We require a business support officer to support us with our service delivery.

You'll need to deal politely, tactfully, and empathetically with a wide range of people, ensuring that all communications are clear, accurate, and professional. Your numeracy skills will come into play as you monitor data and reconcile straightforward financial procedures. Additionally, you'll be producing reports, minutes, and correspondence, showcasing your excellent written skills.

**About you**:
You bring demonstrable administrative experience to the table, and you're particularly skilled in minute-taking and agenda creation. You're proficient with office software systems, especially Microsoft WORD and EXCEL, and you're adept at maintaining accurate records. You excel at organising your workload to meet deadlines, and you can work autonomously as well as part of a team. Your ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both in writing and in conversation, is one of your key strengths.

You're also highly numerate, capable of monitoring data and handling financial procedures with ease. You understand the importance of recognising and addressing discrimination in the workplace, ensuring an inclusive environment for all. Your specialist knowledge of administrative procedures and systems, along with a recognised administration qualification to NVQ 2/3 Level or equivalent experience, makes you a perfect fit for this role.

You're flexible and able to adjust your working hours occasionally to meet service requirements. Plus, you're comfortable conversing with ease with members of the public, providing effective help or advice in accurate and fluent spoken English.
