JOB OVERVIEW

An exciting opportunity has arisen at The Shrewsbury and Telford
Hospital NHS Trust (SaTH) for an enthusiastic and energetic individual
with excellent analytical skills to join the Information Technology
(IT) Team, initially on a 6 month secondment. This is an excellent
time to join our team as we embark upon the delivery of a digital
transformation roadmap across the organisation.

As a Digital Systems Administrator you will be responsible for the
maintenance of the EPR Applications and IT maintained disparate
systems to ensure continuity of service and resolution of ongoing
operational issues.

MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB

To assist the EPR Analysts in negotiating with external organisations
over service issues, e.g. where the EPR is being developed in the
local community

Key to the delivery of the digital transformation roadmap is data
quality, ensuring patient information held within the EPR systems is
correct and timely. Engagement with clinical teams including
Inpatients, Outpatients, Emergency Department, Pathology and Radiology
as well as admin and clerical teams is essential, as is a keen eye for
detail.

The post holder will have proven experience in the use and management
of clinical/EPR systems with a good knowledge of Microsoft
work, managing competing demands & deadlines and you will have the
enthusiasm and drive for results.

WORKING FOR YOUR ORGANISATION

Working as part of a Digital System Administration team within the IT
department you will work autonomously, within the boundaries of the
role, as well as, importantly, being part of a team.

You will be supported by the wider IT team to deliver services
designed around supporting end users and show an ability to learn and
respond to demands in a fast-paced technical environment
