My Client is an established Accountancy, Tax, and Insolvency specialist based in North Kent. They are looking to appoint a Portfolio Manager/Supervisor to join their growing business and advisory department. Your role will be responsible for managing andsupporting the management accounting and statutory reporting team.
You will be either a qualified ACA or ACCA accountant with experience of working independently and be able to demonstrate client management and previous supervisory experience. Depending on your level of knowledge you will take on a varying sized portfolioof clients. Their client base is very interesting and you will be responsible for delivering management accounting services, statutory accounts, preparing reports for the SRA, and offering general accounting and compliance advice. You will support and leadthe team and work with other internal managers to provide client services in an effective and efficient manager, within budget.
Your role:

- Manage a varied client portfolio of clients and be responsible for supporting those clients
- Liaising with clients to answer queries and manage the portfolio, providing advisory services as required
- Preparing, reviewing, and submitting statutory accounts for Limited Companies, Limited Liability partnerships, unincorporated partnerships, and sole traders.
- Preparing, reviewing, and submitting Corporation Tax returns for Limited Companies
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly and quarterly bookkeeping and management accounts and providing relevant analysis to clients and submitting VAT returns by the deadline
- Supervise and support more junior members of the team including managing workflow and budgets
As a firm they are experiencing growth, therefore if you have expertise or knowledge of dealing with Solicitors Accounts/LLP Accounts and working knowledge of the rules and regulations surrounding these it would be a benefit.
