Public Relations Executive

**Description of Role**
**Responsibilities**
As a Public Relations Executive at Spencer Group you will:
- Develop, implement, and manage public relations strategies to enhance the company’s reputation.
- Write and distribute press releases, articles, and other media materials.
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists, media outlets, industry influencers, and stakeholders.
- Monitor media coverage and industry trends, providing regular reports and insights to management.
- Manage crisis communication and ensure timely, strategic responses to media inquiries.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, engineering, and leadership, to ensure consistent messaging.
- Oversee the creation of engaging content for corporate websites, social media platforms, and newsletters.
- Support branding initiatives by ensuring alignment between PR campaigns and corporate identity.
- Track and analyse PR campaign performance, adjusting strategies as necessary.
**Person Specification**
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and networking abilities.
- High level of creativity and ability to craft compelling narratives.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills to assess PR campaign effectiveness.
- Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset.
**Qualifications & Experience**
- A Bachelor's degree in English Literature or a related field.
- Experience in public relations, media relations, or corporate communications, preferably in an engineering, manufacturing, or technical industry desired but not essential
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £27,000.00 per year
