Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Public Relations and Communications Manager to join our team at our Newcastle Upon Tyne office. In this on-site role, you will develop and execute effective PR and communication strategies to enhance the public image and reputation of VetPartners. Responsibilities include drafting press releases, managing social media platforms, building relationships with key media contacts, and coordinating marketing campaigns. You will act as a liaison to internal stakeholders, manage branding initiatives, and oversee the delivery of compelling communication materials aligned with the company's vision and objectives.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Public Relations strategy, Media Relations, and Crisis Communication
- Proficiency in Content Creation, Copywriting, and Editing
- Experience in Social Media Management and Digital Marketing
- Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field preferred
- Previous experience in a similar role or within the veterinary or healthcare industry is advantageous
