Main purpose of job**:
The Sales Executive will be responsible for a wide range of sales activities with a particular emphasis on generating new quality sales leads through various channels and owning sales administration tasks in support of the wider sales team.
The Sales Executive role presents a fantastic opportunity for someone that enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, generating new business opportunities, has a proactive attitude and is looking to be part of a growing and exciting business.
**Key Responsibilties**:
- Sales administration in support of the wider Sales team - producing quotes for customers, handling customer questions/enquiries and responses.
- Prospecting for new business opportunities, generating quality leads and filtering through to Sales and Account Management team.
- Utilise CRM software system to collate and update all sales information for key clients, new business leads, business development communications and much more.
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
- Conduct discovery calls with potential clients to gain an understanding of what they’re looking for, qualifying the lead to share with wider Sales team.
- Participate on behalf of Urben at tradeshows and industry led events. Networking with potential customers, IT/AV integrator partners, manufacturing partners and much more.
- Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams.
- Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services when necessary.
**Experience and Qaulifications Required**:
- Minimum 1-2 years’ Sales experience, preferably within a B2B environment.
- Computer literate including Microsoft office suite.
- Commercial awareness / understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques.
- Hands on experience utilising a CRM software is a plus, not essential.
- Familiar with sales administration and tasks involved.
- Experience generating new business / prospecting.

- Good communication - able to interact with associates and customers effectively and professionally.
- Good team player - creates and maintains effective working relationships, supporting cross-functional teams, sharing experience and knowledge.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and creative ability - having the ability to find effective solutions and understand the needs of the customer.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Good attention to detail. Ability to spot mistakes and rectify them.
- Good time management and organisation.
- Fast learner and passion for sales.
