The Sales Executive will be responsible for a wide range of sales activities working with an impressive client portfolio and expanding this to other multinational organisations. This high tech St. Albans based IT and Technology organisation boast an exciting and impressive client list with a number of top global companies who use their services to manage internal and eternal communication with stakeholders. This fantastic Salesopportunity in the IT area is looking for someone keen to hone their sales ability to add value to their service and product offerings with the learning capability to add value to the business
**Description**
Sales Executive duties and responsibilities;
- Prospecting for new business opportunities, generating quality leads and filtering through to Sales and Account Management team.
- Support the Sales team - producing quotes for customers, handling customer questions/enquiries and responses.
- Utilise CRM software system to collate and update all sales information for key clients, new business leads, business development communications and much more.
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
- Conduct discovery calls with potential clients to gain an understanding of what they're looking for, qualifying the lead to share with wider Sales team.
- Participate at tradeshows and industry led events. Networking with potential customers, IT/ Technology partners, manufacturing partners and much more.
- Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams.
- Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services when necessary.
**Profile**
This Sales Executive role will be based in St. Albans and operating in the technology sales arena you will need to have the following experience/characteristics to secure the role;
- Confident and personable character who is eager to build a career in tech sales or someone with 1-2 years sales experience eager to maximise their earning and progression prospects
- Good communication - able to interact with associates and customers effectively and professionally.
- Commercial awareness with an eagerness to learn marketing and negotiating techniques.
- Experience generating new business / prospecting
- Good team player - creates and maintains effective working relationships, supporting the design team as well as the team, sharing experience and knowledge. Excellent problem-solving skills and creative ability - having the ability to find effective solutionsand understand the needs of the customer.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
