Due to our continued growth, we currently have an exciting opportunity for an **Administration Assistant** to join our Supply Chain team based in York. You’ll support the team with a wide variety of tasks, from ensuring stock levels of spare parts to liaising with suppliers, ensuring orders run on time.

**Your Role**:

- Order parts to fulfil demand and reduce stock loss.
- Arrange shipment of parts.
- Communicate with warehouses to ensure timely receipt of parts and create stock transfers between sites.
- Work closely with the Buyers to ensure new products have available parts.
- Support the buying team with product samples, identifying new products and suppliers, plus any ad-hoc admin tasks.
- Assist the team co-ordinator in ensuring orders run on time.
- Use various systems to update purchase orders, create SKUs, and run reports.
- Act as the first point of contact for product queries from the Customer Support team.
- Prepare daily reports and organise stock transfers between warehouses.
- Take notes during meetings.
- Carry out other relevant departmental administration as required.

**Working Hours**: Full time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm (37.5 hours per week with 1 hour for lunch).

You will be based at our modern offices near Sheriff Hutton (YO60), so it is essential that you have your own transport.
