**ABOUT THE JOB**

Whilst working as part of the Packing team, set up and operator the Blue prints ensuring the correct set up and running of the blue print, checkweighers, taper units and inkjet coders.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- To operator the blue prints and shaker units, ensuring the units are running efficiently. Adjust the size of the case shaker as appropriate and initiate reel and blade changes and clear any blockages
- Control and maintain the efficient running of the checkweighers; flap detectors and ink jet coders
- Ensure the correct date code is on the cases and that it is correctly positioned and legible
- Complete all associated paperwork, and ensure that Company policies and procedures are adhered to
- Report all damage; signs of wear and tear and decoder issues to the Packing Senior Operative/FLM, QA or Engineering Department
- Actively participate in continuous improvement activities and follow a ‘clean as you go’ policy including clearing the weight reject bin
- Assist with the training of new operators as and when necessary
- Carry out all other responsible duties when requested
- Ensure your our personal safety and that of all personal including others who may be affected by the Company’s activities
- Challenge unsafe behaviours
- Adhere to the duties required for your role within the Health and Safety policy
- Promote and enforce behaviours and actions that will prevent all contamination threats to products whether physical, microbial or chemical Escalate immediately reporting on the status of any non-compliance in the system or process to management for counter measure or immediate remedy

**WHERE YOU’LL WORK**:
Based at our Whittlesey plant, you will be responsible for Setting up the palletising system to run - including pallet dispenser, banders, all roller tracks, all conveyors, and auto-palletiser)
