We are looking for a Technical Operative (HALO) to ensure the operation and cleanliness of all equipment in dry and wet receiving. Ensuring the equipment is utilised to its full potential to deliver potatoes from the Peelers to the cutting area.

Based at our Whittlesey plant, you will be responsible for taking ownership of, and accepting accountability for the peelers and halo building, whilst also completing daily OAC checks for the area and reporting any faults or malfunctions to area senior operator, SAM and Engineering department

You will be tasked with managing variety changes to ensure no two varieties are mixed, and it’s really important that you complete all necessary paperwork and procedures fully, accurately and without omissions for i.e. safe isolation, daily isolation, interlock check sheets and cleaning records

As a key member of the Manufacturing Team, you will work together with Shift Area Managers to prepare, plan and meet audit standards and be on call to showcase hygiene excellence during audits.

You will have a keen eye for continuous improvement and will constantly strive to find areas of improvement to bring about positive change to the site and the team who operate within it.
