Transport - Extrusions Dispatch Planner G1

**Plan it right. Keep the flow of extrusions moving.** We’re looking for a proactive and detail-focused **Extrusions Dispatch Planner (G1)** to join our Transport team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, planning, and coordination, with a strong eye for accuracy and a passion for customer service. You’ll need to be organised, decisive, and confident working with both systems and people — this isn’t just paperwork; it’s about keeping production, packing, and transport in sync so customers get the right goods, at the right time. **Your Role**: As part of the Extrusions Transport & Dispatch team, you’ll be responsible for scheduling deliveries, maximising vehicle efficiency, and supporting the smooth flow of goods through the yard, warehouse, and transport network. You’ll play a key role in ensuring safe, accurate, and on-time deliveries while helping to build continuous improvements into the way we work. **Key Responsibilities**: - Plan and monitor outbound deliveries to achieve OTIF targets - Maximise load space and ensure dispatch paperwork is accurate - Work with Packing, Warehouse, and Quality Control to align schedules and materials - Investigate delivery issues, complaints, or near misses and drive improvements - Support returns, stillage management, and month-end stock checks - Track and report KPIs (dispatch accuracy, OTIF performance, stock take accuracy) - Ensure safe, clean, and compliant working practices in line with ISO/BSI standards - Build skills and knowledge for progression to **Dispatch Planner G2** **What We’re Looking For**: - Strong organisational and communication skills - Calm under pressure and able to multitask - Confident with IT systems (Excel, outlook Etc) - Physically fit and able to support warehouse/yard activity when needed - Forklift or Combi-Lift licence desirable (mandatory at G2 level) - A proactive mindset — this is a planning role, not just admin **Pay & Progression**: - Starting Salary upto: £25,447 - Pathway to **Dispatch Planner G2** with structured training and cross-skilling - Long-term opportunities to progress into senior planning and supervisory roles **Employee Benefits**: - 30 days holiday (rising to 35 with service), incl. bank holidays - Paid overtime - Health cash plan and wellbeing support - Cycle to Work scheme - Staff discounts (retail, services, etc.) - Free on-site parking - Company pension & sick pay - Christmas & New Year paid shutdown - Uniform and PPE provided - Company events & voucher schemes **Why Join Us?** This is a pivotal role in keeping our extrusion dispatch operations running at their best.
