**TALENT HIRE is looking for Transport Planner/Customer Service**

**MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Ready Mix Delivery Planner**

*Take customer orders for locally shipped plants through multi-channel (telephone and digital)

*Manage programmed orders and services

*Manage plant and truck capacities daily in line with targets KPIs

*Ensure product is dispatched to the customer on time

*Liaise with plant managers and hauliers to ensure smooth running of daily operations

*Modify in-process orders at customer request

*Work pro-actively to establish the feasibility of customer requests

*Plan future plant and truck availability.

*Manage late loads - including a timely notification of these issues to all the relevant parties.

*Work closely with colleagues in other departments to ensure that orders are dealt with in accordance with the customer commitment agreed by the Sales Agent and customer service priorities and guidelines.

*Proactively resolve customer issues/complaints or changes in the requested order

*Identify the need for order re-negotiation.

*Contribute to ongoing process improvements by identifying opportunities to reduce costs and increase quality and efficiency

**EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS**
- Experience of working within a result driven working environment (including working towards KPI’s both business and personal) is essential
- Excellent customer service skills
- RMX / SAP experience desirable
- Experience of planning workload of drivers / dispatch of products would be an advantage
- Experience of Midlands geographical area essential
- Experience of driver hours regulations desirable
- Experience of working in fast paced / high call traffic environment essential
- Digital Savvy

Monday
- Friday 8-5 on average

1 in 4 Saturdays 7-12 (Can be from home if appropriate)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
