An NHS organisation in London is looking for an interim Employee Relations Manager to join them for an initial 3 to 6 months basis.

The purpose of this role is to be responsible for complex employee relations case work and provide advice and support to line managers on a range of complex and challenging ER issues. These include, grievance management, poor performance and attendance andworkplace dispute management.

**Main Responsibilities Include**:

- Leading investigations as necessary, attending internal hearings and attending external Employment Tribunal hearings as may be required.
- Project manage and closely monitor the delivery of a large number of complex investigations, engaging all relevant staff and ensuring the timescales are set and deadlines are achieved.
- Provide support to plan, develop and evaluate methods and processes for gathering, analysing, interpreting and presenting data and information relating to Trust ER cases.
- Identify potential areas of concern and risks with investigations and ensure that appropriate management or team action is taken to rectify the issue.
- Advise and support managers, individual staff and groups of staff on issues which can be highly complex and sensitive, in accordance with HR policies, procedures, current legislation and NHS initiatives.
- To advise on national and local terms and conditions of employment.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Extensive experience dealing with a wide range of ER cases.
- Ability to build relationships quickly at all levels.
- High levels of enthusiasm and determination during a busy time.
- Excellent understanding of employment law.
