ENGIE are recruiting a Metering Administrator to be based in **Leeds.** This is a 9 Month fixed term contract role working 37 hours per week. Working is flexible in relation to office attendance (1-2 days per week) and standard office hours (8:30am - 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8:30am - 4:30pm Friday) are expected. **Purpose of the job**:
The Metering Administrator will play an active role in the Metering Teams day to day processes and project driven work. They will manage operational processes including RGMA flow management and maintenance of metering assets, whilst also working hard towards industry targets surrounding the SMART & AMR Installation Programme and other Engie Initiatives.
**Responsibilities will include**:
- Managing the Gas & Elec Emergency Process in line with industry requirements and liaising with Customers and 3rd parties where required
- Administrative support for Gas siteworks; new connections, relocations, upgrades/downgrade, disconnections etc
- Investigation of contentious meter removals in order to remove from Engie supply and reduce costs
- Raising, tracking and resolution of meter and AMR faults across both Gas and Elec portfolios
- Identifying inherited Smart meters and ensuring gain process is initiated to allow the meter to operate in SMART mode
- Supporting the roll-out of Smart and Advanced meters to comply with Supply Licence Conditions and the commercial needs of the business
- Liaising with 3rd Parties on deployment for SMART/AMR Rollouts and providing reporting on progress
- Responding effectively to and helping resolve queries in relation to Smart and Advanced meters and associated activities
- Processing of RGMA Flows within SLA, ensuring accuracy and efficiency is maintained
- Effectively manage the Energy Theft Process in line with industry procedure for both Gas and Elec
- Managing Guaranteed Standards of Service breaches and ensuring payments are made within SLA
- Supporting Team Leader with coordination of our Service Providers so that they exceed our internal and external installation targets and contractual SLA’s
- Assisting in complying with Ofgem, BEIS, and DCC requests for information and reports on progress
- Helping to ensure that all smart meter installations are compliant with the Smart Metering Installation Code of Practice
- Liaising effectively with third party agents and attending/running operational calls
- Adhering to internal processes and risk frameworks
- Efficiently and proactively managing the team mailbox and internal tickets abiding by set SLAs
**Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications required**:
- Numerical skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders
- Microsoft Office proficient
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritise workloads, adhering to deadlines
- Practical approach to problem solving with a ‘right first time’ motive
- Self-motivated and able to motivate others
- General understanding of the Smart Metering Programme and the functionality of Smart and AMR meters
- Previous experience in a logístical, service provider administration/analyst role
- Previous experience in a similar role within the Energy sector, desirable
- Preferable experience of a back office role
- For this role, you must have evidence of the right to work in the UK. There is no re-location package offered with this role._
