Head of Life Employee Communications - Salary £95,000 - £115,000

A bit about the job:
You’ll help our people connect to our purpose, live our values and become advocates for Aviva. You’ll help drive engagement and alignment behind Aviva’s strategic business priorities, helping create clarity for people on their contribution to these.

You'll work closely with Life Leadership team, helping them and their teams to deliver effective communications that facilitate two-way engagement with our people. You'll also provide comms consultancy and develop and deliver critical communications programmes across the business.

You'll be key in making sure that the work the Group Employee Communications team does makes sense for our people and is tailored as necessary for hard to reach audiences. That's everything from content and campaigns, through to engagement and leadership communications.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Have a wealth of experience in employee/internal communications- Have direct experience of, and comfort working into senior leadership. Be highly skilled in providing advice to senior business leaders and adept at building trust quickly and retaining it through time- Be a people person and a great teammate with low ego and high EQ - an energetic, positive and a welcome addition to every room- Be highly organised, adept at managing multiple stakeholders, and have an exceptional eye for detail- Be comfortable leading and rolling up your sleeves to get stuck in with delivery.

What you’ll get for this role:
- Salary from Salary £95,000 to £115,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)- Generous pension (starting level Aviva contributes 8% when you contribute 2%)- Eligibility for annual performance bonus of between 0% - 50%- Long Term Incentive Plan (Restricted Stock Units) for high performers, between 10% and 30% of salary- Private Medical Insurance for self- Family friendly parental and carer’s leave- 29 days holiday per year plus bank holidays and the option to buy/sell up to 5 additional days- Up to 40% discount for Aviva products- Brilliant flexible benefits including electric cars- Aviva Matching Share Plan and Save As You Earn scheme- 21 volunteering hours per year
