We are currently looking for someone who has previous experience in radiography management and has a track record within multi-modality departments.You willbe required to provide clinical & business leadership and strategic direction to the Imaging Department by, developing and managing service delivery within the area of responsibility with a high degree of professionalism ensuring effective deployment, utilisationand control of all resources while providing a high quality, responsive, patient focused service. As a member of the Management Team contribute to the strategic, operational, and business development of the hospital.Responsibilities:Clinical expertise in X-RaysEnsuringthe smooth and safe day to day running of the unitTeam management including preparing rotas, appraisals, recruitment and managing annual leave requestsCompleting audits and ensuring compliance of the unitUpdating documents, policies, risk assessment and riskregistersDealing with complaints, incidents and reviewing of patient satisfaction surveysOrdering of stock for the unit, ensuring efficient stock rotationCarrying out QA and ensuring all equipment is maintained (PPM) all faults reported promptly, and repairscarried out to maintain the service.Maintaining up to date knowledge of safety alerts, NICE and CQC guidanceAttending Meetings (Clinical Governance, Health, and safety etc) and sharing information with the teamRegularly reporting unit operations to managementSeekingand obtaining business development opportunities.You will havePrevious supervisory/management experience in a healthcare settingStrong understanding of CQC complianceDiploma of the College of Radiographers or BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography with a minimumof 4 years post graduate experience.Clinical / Management Experience and technical knowledge within Radiology especially X-RaysAbility to administer IV contrast media.Exemplary professional approach and patient skills; particularly with claustrophobic patients.Excellentcommunication skills and use of English language.Salary and BenefitsCompetitive salary up to £51,500 per annum33 days holiday per annum, increasing to 38 days (Inclusive of Bank Holidays)Private Medical insurance and Staff Health ChecksMarket leading developmentincluding courses for industry recognised qualifications.Progression possibilities throughout the companyApply now for the chance to be considered for this opportunity or please get in touch with Tom Fitch on for further information.Unfortunately, due to therequirements of our client it is essential to have UK based experience.ReferralsMediTalent have a range of fantastic opportunities for Nurses, Consultants and Allied Health Professionals to work across a variety of healthcare settings globally.
