Kitchen Assistant

We are looking for a **Kitchen Assistant **to join our team at **Dundonald Links **in **Irvine, Ayrshire.** _Great hourly rate of £11.00_

This is a **permanent** position to work **variable **hours. This will be across variable days which will include evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Flexibility is essential to suit the needs of the business.

**About The Role**

**Main responsibilities**:
The successful Kitchen Assistant will
- Take on a range of kitchen responsibilities.
- Pot washing.
- Collect, clean and replenish all crockery and kitchen utensils in a prompt and efficient manner.
- Assist the kitchen team with preparation of various food dishes.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
- Work with the Head Chef to assist with responsibility of various aspects within the kitchen.
- Prepare fresh ingredients including dough, and cook and serve quality pizza from our external wood fired oven.

**Requirements**:
Some previous experience within a busy kitchen environment is desired. Catering qualifications and Level 3 Food Safety are desirable but not essential. A driving licence and ability to drive is an advantage to enable easy travel to and from the retreat.

**Required Criteria**
- Right to Live and work in the UK Excellent customer service and strong communication skills

**Desired Criteria**
- A driving licence and the ability to drive is an advantage to enable easy travel to and from the resort
