As a maintenance assistant at Rockwater you will support the maintenance manager in the overall maintenance of our venues.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, cleaning, and repairing fixtures.
- Maintainance of exterior furniture and building.
- Bin care to ensure the bins are in good condition and working order.
- Assist in troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and performing minor repairs under supervision.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory levels.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and clean work environment by following established procedures and protocols.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues or hazards.
- Support senior maintenance staff in conducting preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment longevity.
- Help in the installation and setup of new equipment or machinery as directed.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from other departments.
- Valid drivers licence as potential travel between sites
- Flexible to work a mix of evenings, weekends and weekdays
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Basic knowledge of H&S
- Basic use of power tools

Temporary role to start as soon as possible with potential to go permanent.
